I am looking for a professional web designer who can begin creating a 7 Page website for me A.S.A.P. It won't take long, and I have come across a few other websites similar to the one I want, so you will be taking ideas from other sites and blending in with some of your own design and creativity.

Anyways, the site I need is regarding Freelance Content Writing service. I will need a brand new logo to go with the site. I will expect you to put your own design skills and show me a small draft of what you have in mind.

I must say $60 is rather measily for rush delivery. In the web design world at least I like to be able to take my time and design what the client wants rather than give out something that is mediocre... but anyhow here goes. I'm certainly not rushing you to complete within a deadline!! Not at all. You can of course take your time. I'd prefer that actually so you produce quality design! I just need the designer to get started sooner, thats what I meant. Sorry if my intial post confused you.

mmm, I seriously doubt the guy's portfolio you mentioned would charge $60 for any of those designs. For $60, I can give you a basic template with minimal graphics, if any, and the logo/banner you've requested. But $60 for template like you cited is robbery.

 

Yes, try raising the ante. $60 could barely afford you a design from a template site.

 

Well guys, show me what kind of designs you could make...then of course I would raise my price. The basic starts at $60, then I end up paying for more, when I see designers using their creativity relevant to the type of site I need...so $60 becomes $80...and very possibly $100+

So show me what you may have in mind and the price can indeed be negotiated...

Today's the last day I'm taking in designers. My final decision will be made within the next 12-24 hrs on who to delegate this website design to. Remember $60 is just the basic starters...it will likely need to go up anyway, easily $85+ and if I need more pages I'll pay additional of course...

You should PM him and find out how much he charges for design. Cut that in half and offer it here and you might get some interest. It will still be well over what you are currently offering.

lol it's funny I charge at a minimum $250 for coding the first page of a site into valid and semantic XHTML/CSS that is cross-browser compatible. I wouldn't even think of doing a design for less than that either, I know my work and what its worth, and I appreciate all of you who also value your work. Too many designers willing to cut themselves short.

But SKH, I truly do wish you the best of luck in finding the right person to do the job for the investment you are willing to make.

$60 wouldn't even get an hour of my services. If you you want a high quality website, you're more than likely going to have to raise your budget considerably - you'd probably be better off buying a template from Template Monster or similar for that sort of budget and going from there.
