Anyone know anything about https://paydotcom.com/ ?

They seem to be some kind of handling company for affiliate payments - but I never heard of them before.

PayDot.com is trying to become a clickbank equivalent. I'm not sure if they'll be successful, but I for one would like to see clickbank get some competition. Clickbank has policies that keep you from your money. And that's not a good incentive for anyone who is trying to get started and may not meet the monthly minimum at first. Kinda seems a bit scammy to me.

Don't get me wrong. Clickbank is a good stream of income, but they could surely improve alot of things in their system.:)

I've sold a few items through clickbank but never reached a threshhold that would make it worthwhile sending a cheque - as I live in Australia.

I was disappointed that the meagre money was winnowing away with admin fees. It's zip now. I don't know if Paydot has the same policy but I hope not.

Commission junction who I also sell through leaves your money intact without admin fees.

This clickbank policy is hard on newbies just starting out. I actually don't see the point in this. I wrote to them about it but I didn't receive a reply - guess they don't want to talk about it. They have the money anyway and could invest it and make money on it from interest. Short term money market etc.
Kind of like the banks do before they clear your checks - at least you eventually get the capital back.

Paydot will allow a newbie to sell their first product without a fee - i.e no $49 dollars. Lifetime membership - unlimited products only $29

Paydot was started by renowned internet marketer Mike Filsaime.

Currently I am an affiliate for a product by a well known marketer - he is putting his products through paydot. So I'll get a lot more familiarity with them.

PayDotCom will kick ClickBank's ass anyday.

Once an order is made your payment will go straight into your paypal or stormpay account, so this means no waiting around for checks!

There is no upfront fee for becoming a vendor and as minute said... you'll only have to pay $29 for unlimited product lines.

If you want to see why it kicks ClickBank's ass then see:

I'll recommend PayDotCom until I'm blue in the face. Once it becomes an established affiliate manager then you can say goodbye to clickbank and all the others.

    Regards,
    Brent

Do affiliates make money from this? What if the publishers at Paydotcom forget to pay their affiliates, as this is not automated. ???

Soon Click2sell.eu will kick PayDotCom's ass, because there are no upfront fees for merchants to add unlimited amount of products into marketplace.
And on click2sell it's already implemented straight payments into merchants PayPal, Moneybookers, Google Checkout, Authorize.net and Worldpay accounts. No waiting for checks too...

Here is comparison of click2sell features - http://www.click2sell.eu/comparison.jsp

I agree that Paydotcom is good, but i see click2sell to be alternative to it also.

    Best regards,

    Regis
