I started my arcade site... and it gets about 40 -50 clicks a day and is only making 2 dollars, is this average?

Interestingly, Google said in its financial statements that it expected ad recvenue to increase during the foruth quarter of 2005, which ended Dec 31, mainly due to a decrease in expected acquisition costs.

It said factors which would affect that outcome included: "whether we are able to enter into more AdSense arrangements that provide for lower revenue share obligations or whether increased competition for arrangements with existing and potential Google Network members results in less favorable revenue share arrangements"

at the beginning, i saw lot of ppl make hundred bucks each months .. but there was so many morons on the net trying to destroy all this, what the heck ! i hate this .. sooner i think their T&C will getting even much harder to get in .. and worse, this revenue ads sharing will disappear ..

Dude, 4 cent/click is trash.
Work on your content to improve ads.

1. Use new google adwords keyword tool to find out the most valuable ones in your industry;
2. Use these kwds in title, header, bold and italic on the top of the page.
3. Use competitive ad filter to throw away the ones who pay few cents.

I started with $600/mo in adsense, then I did what is described above and now quadrupled my income.

 

How do you figure out how much each of the ads pays to know what to filter out. As I am sure it could do some magic to my earnings with 1500 clicks at ave of 6 cents!!! If I could get it up to 10-15-20 I would be an extremely happy man

I started one of my sites more than 6 months ago and today I made 30 cents while other days I'm getting one dollar or two.

Of course that site is under developed and practically abandonded so any income is welcome anyway

 

I looked at my earnings and saw that I am getting only twice that. too low.. huhuhu

Use small ad units (234x60) and put separate channels on them. Let them run for about 1-2 days, and then decide whether to ban the advertiser or not. It's easy and it worked for me.
I have a site in a narrow focused technical area, so 1500 clicks/day is impossible for me. But I found and banned all advertisers that pay less than a dollar per click. Once I even saw a $6.94 click on one of my channels.
But if you have 1500 clicks/day, it means that your area is pretty popular.
WORK ON KEYWORDS, MAN! It does wonders. And then you can convert your 6 cents into 12, easily.

 

Oneday I got 5.xx for 52 clcs, next day 1.xx for 42 clc.

Yeah, that webmaster has some serious balls showing adsense on a porn-video estore, PLUS they're basically telling users to click on the ads.
