how much money can be made from these kind of sites. Is it worth it? Do advertisers actually want to spend money and get this kind of traffic?
Dont test them you wont earn anything from sites like that... And if you mean sites where you need invest first, those are all ponzies and will fail and you lost your cash....
Paid-to-Surf sites are scam (most of them). This kind of methods never make money to you. Seek for other opportunities instead.
Well not all scams my ptc site pays and pays well i have proof and would never scam anyone has happened to me to many times
I've done a lot of advertising and can clearly say that I would prefer to give someone $100 rather than pay one of these sites $100 to get this sort of traffic. The traffic is not effective at all and they only go to your website for the money, they are not really interested in your site.
Not all of these sites are scams ...I make decent money from at least one...you just have to get enough referrals... but the ones where you have to invest in them...stay clear of those ones
yeah, sites like 12dailypro, that say they pay huge percentages, and charge you for the program are mostly all scams...the business models don't work out... (i lost over $3000 in 12DailyPro) but those ones that pay $0.01 or similar per click...those are the ones that are more stable ...(not all of them...but those are the safer ones)...plus if they are free you have nothing to lose.
i own buxsense.com we are trustful not all are but we are. I mean we have a good few advertisers and pay well. If u want advertising pm me ill do cheap for forum members.
i've ran pay to surf site before..it grew pretty well but its hard to maintain.. if it grows, you need a dedicated server due to many connections to database and those site will never earn enough to pay for the server (let alone, profit). Plus you may end up owing your members and get bad reputation I paid out of my pocket to members to end my pay to surf site business with no bad names.
Yup I own one to, I hate the "They're the only ones who make money" comments (when referring to the webmasters and owners), they can be good for more reasons than just traffic to a site ie. think of some sites that benefit you for sending traffic - think web2.0 sites !! I am not giving to much away - but I can say that there's certain sites out there that only need crap quality traffic for you to benefit from. I have just taken over http://www.clixhaven.com and I like it - we pay 1/4 of a cent for page surfed in Manual surf. Oh and it's not just the webmasters who are the cheats - sometimes the users are just as shifty.
Think about owning one instead, they make loads more than what members make I've tried these websites when I was way way younger and it was a waste of time. Personally I would have spent it on learning about online marketing and then use that direction to earn income instead.
