what do you mean ? what that the person gets free internet in return for advertising? in that case no its not illegal
No, its when a company pays a person to have ads scroll on the top of their screen while they are on the internet, so that they receive money from the advertisers and pass a little of the profits onto the people for having the inconvenience of the ads.
country law has nothing to do with it , show me a country law that says no to advertising? nope there is nothing wrong with pay to surf
i think this is down to use preference and how much patience they have for spammy adds, the only issue i could see with this is being against the advertisers terms of services this could be seen as cheating.
many years ago when i first got on the net here in australia, internet connections were a tad expensive even on dialup , there was a few companies that popped up using the same model that they put up advertising in return you got free net but then there was a simple way around it , you set up a network and used port forwarding to forward the ads to another computer in the network , you got free net with out the annoying ads , it ruled
France for exemple, you are not allowed to pay cash to members, it can be done as gift but no cash can be paid off, no paid to website are allowed. and this is not the only country, so instead of opening your mouth wide just to talk about things you don't know, just shut it
Years ago there was something like this that was very hot at the time. You had to actually pay a fee to join the membership but then your money could double or more by viewing the ads. It was on a timed event. Maybe like 200 ads per hour - can't remember the details. Anyways, I made around $2,000 and then all of the sudden all the sites collapsed. It was based on a Ponzi scheme and when the main one crashed all the other ones fell like dominos. It was a very interesting event at the time.
Well most of them were ponzi, though one became very succesfull it was called 12dailypro, it collapsed because of stormpay failure to make themselves clear of fraud, FBI seized $48m in this story. But I made around $12.000 with just $200 investment a few really nice referrals (most of cash was referral earning)
Yes this is legal, but i wouldn't recommend anyone to get in these schemes. You better start a real business and make real money.
