You as a publisher how much are you're looking for in a Pay Per Sign Up Affiliate programs to earn before you post their links/banners on your site? Would you publish ads if they paid you $0.25 per sign up? $0.50? $1?
Hi Netpox, Form my experience this entirely depends upon the conversion rates of the offer in question. If your offer converts very well, then 0.50 may be ok, but if not, you will have to raise it. At the end of the day, it comes down to what the affiliate is earning per click to your offer.
Yes conversion rate is very important. I always happy with $0.25 per signup fror GPT ads on my site because you will get much signup with good markting. While it is not easy for some paid sites. So it should be more than $1.
Well i think it will all depend on yea the conversion rate. But $0.50 is a good figure which i would be happy with. I aggree with Rohit about its alot harder for paid sites. Regards Marty
The most successful people I know in affiliate marketing will work on stuff that earns tham about $10 per sale. They make less sales - but earn more.
What would you say is a good conversion rate? If i was paying $0.50 per sign up, out of 100 people how many would you expect to sign up?
It depends on the conversion rate as well, $1 is pretty decent in case you expect just to fill up email address .
From my experience, publishers grumble at anything less than $1 regardless of how short the form is or how easy it is to generate a lead. If it's a big one page sign up, you're looking at $1.25 - $2. Multipage bumps it to $2+. For sales campaigns in the CPA world, min is pretty much $20 for any campaign which asks for a credit card, regardless of whether it's a sale or just a trial.
