So far most of the commissions I've made are through pay-per-sale affilaite programs. I really haven't tried a lot of pay-per-lead affiliate programs. Through your experience, which kind of affiliate program do you feel is better?
Pay per sale is better.Pay per lead might a bit tiring -) Hence,my one sure convert into sales for those who are serious in internet money making. Focus and concerntrate same like google adsense. But the one I have is dif from adsense. Have a nice day
It all depends on the niche you are targeting. There are a few niches where leads pay very well and have a high conversion rate. But in general pay per sale has higher pay outs. If you are in a niche that targets people searching for information more than products, PPL may be better, but if your niche is buyers, PPS is best!
I agree it's a total niche deal. For example, if your site doesn't get a lot of traffic pay per sale makes a whole lot more sense because the payouts are generally much larger. However, with a ton of traffic pay per lead seems to be a very good option, although pay per sale would still be outstanding.
The most important metric is that of returns, and i agree that this can often be dependent on the niche and the details of the campaign. There really is no right answer.
I agree there is no real right answer, but the way I look at it, it's easier to get leads than sales therefore being able to get more leads.
Per Sale - you shoud be more accurate in targetting traffic, else you will be in minus and will lose your money. Per Lead - you should get more people and involve them in some actions. But it's easier to find a lot of such people, since in most cases they shouldn't pay for something, here you will need more actions from them, but they will act more often than if they would have to buy something.
