Pay Per Post adverts and PR or Alexa

I did my first advert on Pay Per Post last week and I have got some clicks on the links so far. I then realized that the bloggers only need to keep the ads for 30 days.

In PPP they charge more for a higher PR and Alexa ranking but really what does PR matter inform of my PR ranking after the post.

If all of the posts are deleted after 3 days then Google will not have time to snap them up and I not have anything to gain from it.

Then it is better to bet on higher Alexa so you know at least you will get some serious traffic to the site.

Or am i totally wrong here?

Alexa tends to confused me as well - I've got five sites linking in? I'm the 56,000 most visited website in Serbia? (I have babel fish but I don't think it translates into Serbian?).

Can anyone enlighten how this works?

I talked with the people in PPP and they think i should not bother with the Alexa but go for the PR. But one have one click and one have over 500 clicks then off course you want to go with the one that have many click. Does alexa matter?
