There has bee a report running to see if 5 second audio ads will drive customers away. Read the findings here, Any thoughts?
Crap, I didn't say my last hello to traffichype! I hope he didn't think I was rude. ;-) Here's a big hug for ya {{{HUG}}} That result was from a fan of such ads. ... If it was even real to begin with. *shrugs shoulders* Yeah, and?
How can you even gather enough information ? Did you use the whole of 10 Audio displays for your 3500+ page impressions to measure these results ? You will never even know or be able to effectively measure the effects because you will never receive enough plays or audio impressions to gather enough information, especially if .001% of page impressions actually trigger an ad'.
Me myself, I have a hatred for sites that autoplay anything. The reason being, like right now for example, that I usually have multiple tabs open, and trying to find the one that has the music playing, is very irritating. I usually never come back to an autoplay site after I've been once. However, 40% money earning trumps my dislikes
I believe more reports will be coming out soon will keep you posted Perry my friend.... Can you please tell me were in the world you come from? I have a bet with some guys, Please be good enough to inform us, I really hope that you can be useful in some way via this thread That result was from a fan of such ads So what its results that counts in this world If it was even real to begin with. Do you even know were the stats come from? Have you ever used Google Analytics? You don’t strike me as the type that would understand such data, Here's a big hug for ya {{{HUG}}} share the love,
You still aren't fooling anyone .... we are not stupid and know it's a waste of time .... you didn't respond to my post .... mmmm wonder why not.
Pay per play will take place no matter what any of us say…. That’s a fact like it or not it will happen, I am not trying to fool anybody, just looking for views, on the above findings Thanks for yours
Pay Per Play sucks, and i've taught my adblocker to catch the code, because it annoys me that much I can't understand why people are jeapordising their traffic, just for a few extra cents :O If it interests anyone, this is what I wrote about PPP, back when I heard about it.
Not as we know it, I haven't seen any growth or positives thus far, 100 000 impressions sent per day to publishers is the same as when it launched, when it is boasting over 200 000+ publisher websites and that =s 1/2 to 1 play per publisher per day ..... still not satisfying anyone and will it ever ?
"...la plus belles ruses du diable est de vous persuader qu'il n'existe pas." Sorry newbies but payperplay is here to stay, I myself as an agent have signed up 3 local business, there happy enough so far, with this been there second week repeat orders, $69,€50 or £33 is nothing for 3000 targeted ads. Much more effective the local rag mags or leaflets. At the moment thats the only problem, filling ad spots and the trolls of course, but I can tell you, thats changing day by day as more and more agents sign up and also netaudioads has there own agency's working very hard for them on a global scale. Its hard to fill 600million ad spots per month, but we are getting there. At this point there are over 100'000+ adverts going out 24/7. Yeah I know not much when its spread across 26million web pages, very poor indeed, but its getting better and better, the new key2page function is a smash hit with advertisers, "press a key" and there web site opens in a new window, how about that, pretty neat eh.
The new interactive advertising feature is pretty cool. Works very well, from what I have seen so far.
<Cough> says he with 79 Posts</Cough> Hahahaha that really made my day, 26 million web pages .... wow and a generous 100 000 plays sent to the entire 26 000 000 web pages .... sheesh. And I really like the : "Very Poor Indeed" - so honest - Under-statement but still honest. Hasn't it been active since the start of Feb' ? 100 000 Impressions daily STILL .... where's the change ?
Did you get a red rep for that? :O I got a nice red rep with the comment "asshole" today PayPerPlay is going to be hated by web users everywhere. If, and when Google starts offering it, you'll know it's good. But as they have not, and won't, it's not.
LoL yeah I have received a Red Rep and an infraction from this thread, apparently you can't call someone a dickhead either .... but meh I am not fazed .... would be good if they could server 100 000 000 ad's per day to the members and publishers, but a measley 100 000 impressions a day would be gone within minutes.
It officially launched about 8days ago... If your not getting ad plays from the 100'000+ ads per day, it simple means your websites are not getting traffic from the GEO specified locations advertisers have requested, or it could be down to keywords, I received a small portion of ad plays(just under 3000), but thats increasing daily... it was predicted that the network capable of 600million ads per month in its present state will be 99% filled by the end of April if things keep going as good as they are now...
