I suggest a PM, even then I wouldn't entertain you, your just not that important or serious enough to review anything.
lol damn, Nancy, do you live on this thread? You worried this much? Poor guy. And I wasn't talking to you anyway. lol Oh, man! Do try to keep up, ok?
There there. Don't worry so much. You can leave the thread for a little bit. Go get some sleep. Everything will be ok. *pats traffichype on the head*
Aww, come on, I'm just havin' some fun with you Pay Per Annoying affiliates. Oops, I meant, Pay Per Play. Sorry. My bad.
Perry this thread has had 3000+ views and 200+ replies, the only annoying thing about this thread is we have to put up with you.
He's not doing a very good job, is he ste1975? I think he is getting red in the face. GRRRRRRRR! Hey, are you also camping out here because you are also so worried? "What are they saying about Pay Per Play?! .. What are they saying?!" Awwwwww, that's cute.
No Perry thats you going red in the face, cause you have just realized your the only fool in this thread.
Agreed the man’s an idiot, why is he asking us what they are saying? Thought he knew it all, The lights are on in Perry’s house but no ones at home, that I am sure of
If you are on the fence, sign up now, cause they just announced they are closing the affiliate program this week. They got too many, as predicted by many. Now they only have enough ads to play one per five hits for awhile. They are starting an advertising sales commission program. Time to focus on advertising sales.
Agreed! I would never use a product like this and 99% of the time if there's anything playing when I go to a site I don't stay there for more than .5 seconds. It's not going to work with me because it's what Seth Godin calls interruption marketing just like TV commercials. There's no mute on my browser, only an x that closes it. Alan
Thats a fair enough comment Alan, but the program is designed for people that will use it, seriously now, do you honestly think websites with audio playing on them where generated to send visitors away, there is a market for this product and its that percentage that its aimed at.
Oh, no doubt there's a market, there are for a lot of things that I personally would buy into. But I think that when users are interrupted in their surfing they will convert less, IMHO. Alan
There is a market. Think outside your box, I have said this before; this will work on younger demographic sites, no doubts about that at all,
wow this is a huge thread on this crap system - there is a huge thread on my blog about this too - giving out huge paragraphs of information about it - a lot of it are for users that want to use it and affiliate with it http://www.ianfernando.com/2007/5-seconds-of-annoyance-payperplay/ I personally think I do not want to promote something that I do not want to annoy myself with this. I personally think "if every website has this, it will be annoying!" like having a 5 second radio constantly play every page load or every site I go to not for me
Well if someone was to use it in the context you mention, they deserve to lose repeat visits, however its going to depend on the site caliber.
LOL. Its just that I don't know if I would give out my urls to the likes of you. You don't seem to be playing with a full deck. Last thing I want is my sites hacked. If you spend this much time trying to ruin a thread, theres no telling what lengths you would spend to ruin a site. Just can't risk it. I'm about to take PPP off my sig link in a few days. They won't be letting people in for a while, just as I predicted. Those guys who didn't hop on the gravy train are about to seriously get left in the cold. Its amazing that they got so many sites signed up in a short period of time, but 220 million ad plays a month would be adequate for most programs. In their case, they have access to a billion hits a month which is absolutely insane. I think its a good thing that they are closing it off to new publishers. That means more money for us until they reach full demand which probably won't be until 30 to 60 days from now. I'm really straight if they don't reach full demand, but I would love to see this program grow into something big. It feels good to know that you were one of the ones that helped to get it there.
Yeah, I had a hunch you wouldn't give your url. That bad, huh? Hey, ste1975 and traffichype, I thought you were going to ignore me? I bumped your spam thread up again, ste1975. You likey? Did you two get some sleep today? Damn, I started a new page, again! I'm gooooood! Now, if you, um, affiliates will excuse me, I'm going to be more serious in the threads that aren't spam on crap most Webmasters don't want.
