Here we go again with the scam thing remark how on earth is it a scam, theres no investment what so ever, you either use it and get paid or you don't, theres no in between.
They could avoid paying out the cash, then it would be a scam ;-) Or suddenly change the ads to old C64 music files, heeh
EDIT: Weren't they meant to pay like $20 for 1k impressions or something? Well, in my reports it says $0.05 for 2.4k impressions.. what is that about?
Its ok for hit and run kind of site but for establish site..HELL NO!! I always disable audio campaign when I put banner in my site. Those "CONGRATULATION" always scare me lol
Tier 1, gets 3.50 per CPM, Advertisers pay 14dollars per CPM TIER 1: Get paid 25% of what the advertiser spends "per play" on audio ads that you serve on your website(s). You get paid for every visitor that remains on any web page (where you place your PPP code) for more than 2 seconds. 20% of Internet users do not have their audio system turned on but you will be paid for 100% of your traffic where an audio ad is served whether it is heard or not. The price that our advertisers pay already takes into account that only 80% of their ads will actually be heard. TIER 2: Get paid 5% of what the advertiser spends "per play" on audio ads that are served on the websites of those that you personally refer to the Pay-Per-Play opportunity. TIER 3: Get paid 5% of what the advertiser spends "per play" on audio ads that are served on the websites of those that your direct referrals bring on board.
You know why, deathfromabove. *wink wink* No, Forumhorizon, in all fairness, it is not a scam. How reliable they are, is another question. However, a Webmaster will lose visitors, and money overtime. Only a complete moron would say or assume otherwise.
I believe they are still limiting ad's per day, something like 100 000 ad's shared between the 1000 000 active sites - YaY !! I think that's going to be a concern - trying to fill all the available plays and impressions, maybe they'll have Run Of Network Ad's - but members are saying that advertisers are paying $15-$20 per 1000 plays which is wayyyyyy to much.
A lot of members have reported earnings, even with the limited ads that are being played. Once this thing goes to full distribution, the earnings will be very impressive. You can see a thread where people have posted their earnings for x days here: Commissions Earned Thread But... it's probably just a scam.
Geee a lot of rich members there .... if they all put there cash together they might even compete with some of us DPers Adsense day totals ....
hahaha. At it again I see. Well Charles Heflin believes that they will be be able to meet full demand within 30 days after looking over the large contracts that they have been receiving. I would love to make comparisons then. There are people who have already met minimum payout with just the measly 100,000 ad play per day over 8 million sites. Adsense isn't all that special anyway since cpa kills adsense with just a few offers. It would be hilarious to see the looks on people's faces if Google turns out to be the partnered search engine. Perryrose: *wink wink* I still don't know what you mean, but it is hard to have a good look with a bad eye. Its like wearing a good suit with a bad tie.
I think majority of people do surf with audio enabled, at least casual visitors (people at school or work most likely have it muted though). I just assume most people go on the Internet at home most of the time, as opposed to at school or work. So at home they probably listen to music, and they'll get annoyed upon hearing it. But still it will get their attention. Also youtube has shown us that people do have audio enabled, so I'd say this might work. I only worry about spammers who'll make made-for-ppa type sites - one shot visitors, great way to earn money by spamming ..
Don't want to give your url, huh? I thought so. Do have a good Monday. On a more serious note... I agree, slincon, but the thing is, how many first time visitors will keep going back to a site that has an annoying ad like that? Yes, the Webmaster will make money, but it will be roughly the same as many of the ads out there, and some, if not many of the visitors won't come back. Add it all up, in say, a year's time, and that is a lot of lost traffic. Not very smart. But neither are a lot of Webmasters out there. That's the bottom line, right there.
