Like I said, they are restricting the ads to 100,000 over millions of sites (thats what they said). When beta is over, they will lift the restriction.
Can't wait to see how its goona do on my sites and other peoples sites. Somehow I dont think the payout will bee that good, but you never know...
They are off beta, but in a slow start mode. They are actually running their spider right now to all the sites, and cleaning up the remaining porn, hate, etc. crap that got it, then ads will start to play much more frequently. The good news is all the stats reporting, and back office stuff is accurate now. It shows money being made and ads being played... so as long as the check clears, this looks good!
I believe the first payout is supposed to happen in March, after the 'bad sites' have been removed by the third party audit.
OK... thanks... I have actually avoided this thing because I read some bad comments about the company. Can't remember the source though. I hope you get paid... if they do, I'm getting in once they have proven themselves
I have a blogpost about this. http://interlinky.com/gnome/aHR0cDo...vbS8yMDA4LzAyL3BwcC1wYXktcGVyLXBsYXkuaHRtbA==
(sites is referring to pages; for example, Myspace alone is millions of sites). They still need more people to sign up. Will they pay? 2 possibilities: 1.If they don't get enough advertisers, then they will fail and you will likely not get pay. If so many ads are played and there is no conversion for advertisers, then this will definitely not work. If someone directly advertise on your site, you main concern is conversion rate for your advertiser. 2.If the audio ads work and advertisers see a high ROI, then as a publisher, you will make money. Ask yourself this question. Will I ever advertise using Pay Per Play? If you answer yes to that question, then there is hope for Pay Per Play. Will users leave your site when they hear the 5 secs audio ads? Depends on your site. Audio ads are not recommended for all sites, so pick and choose. Should I place Pay Per Play on my site right now? Yes! Why? You have nothing to lose, accept maybe a few minutes of your time. The benefit is much more rewarding than the cost. Right now, they are accepting all legit sites because they still need more publishers. For more details about Pay Per Play, view my signature.
Thought you guys should know about this. Charles Heflin answered my question about getting paid. Heres his response:
If the audo ads would play with every impression i'd use them.. Since they supposedly pay for 100% of your traffic.. Anyone else actually getting decent play rates now? Im waiting until that rises
Play rates are low for everyone for the next week or so, until the third party audit is complete. It does suck not to get paid for 100% of traffic right now, but it makes sense why it's being done this way. If they piss of the advertisers, nobody will make money. The audit will make sure all sites comply with the TOS. Why not just put it on your site(s), forget about it for a month or two, then see how much money is in your account?
a annoying thig about this was that when i first signed up to this way back the tos didnt say anything about adult sites not being accepted if they had of the spiders wouldnt need to be auditing publishers now
Another Widget Bucks LoL, I am just glad the affiliates have piped down - is it a coincidence or has the reruiting stopped ? or closed the doors on new publishers. Kind of proves the PPP threads and constant chat for the last month was hype and recruitment drives.
Hi, I joined this forum today, because of this topic. I read the blogs on the top posts. I also joined up with ppp, I understand being in Beta. We did launch, but now the program has stopped for new members, until we catch up with more advertisers. Maybe you should try to get this forum to purchace some advertising, that way they can test it out?
Yeah cos we're all hanging to join .... I am actually enjoying the piece and quiet while they aren't recruiting .... are can you hear that ? It's the sound of PPP affiliates .... crying and trying to build a downline ....
