My siggy is just the referral link... I have the ppp code on several arcade sites.

And I was thinking... who's to blame for the delay? Is it NAA Central ? Or is it BPA ?

It's annoying to hear all those negative comments about ppp all the time. You guys are complaining that it does not pay that much? It pays $3.50 CPM, way more than any other ad network! And you are paid $0.70 on your referrals. And $0.70 on your referrals' referrals. Wait until it starts for real before complaining about it. Yeah it's taking a lot of time but so what?! What do you have to lose? Money that you would not have made without ppp?

You guys are complaining that it's annoying to hear a 5 second audio commercial when you get on a website. I have had a couple of thousands of ppp ads played on my website and I don't find it annoying at all. I mean, It's only 5 seconds!! And it does not stop you from continuing browsing the website. Ads on television does stop you from whatching your show.

So, I really don't understand what you are complaining about. If you are ready to lose $3.50 CPM then don't put the ads on your website. Then 2 years from now when everybody has ppp on their website you will do it too.

I was looking into this idea as well. I was thinking about putting on or so on each BANS or MMS site I make - since they are in the category of build it and leave it - that extra .7 cents would add up to maybe a nice time out with my son after a few months. Figure 50 - 60 bans sites ( or mms's) and one vid per page of each site - let them hit google or whatever and there ya go.. maybe set it up for Christmas time - if they give you choices - people will be more likely to watch at that time of year I think.
    Just my 2 cents!

    have a great one.

Looks like the 2008 version of AGLOCO. Doesn't cost anything to join but you won't make hardly anything. There are a zillion people wanting to be publishers and no line of advertisers waiting to pay anything decent for a 5 second audio ad. Hey, it's least it's free and the only loss is the wasted time.

I see comments from the pro-PPP crowd about that is trying to rationalize the giant over-promises and under-delivering PPP has done so far with how Google had trouble with Adsense when it first started, but that comparison is a joke. When Google started Adsense, Google was already the king of internet search and a BIG company that was making millions off of advertising. They had the money, technology and market share to make Adsense work and get through the bugs and revisions to who they accepted as both publishers and advertisers. I don't see any comparison to Google in 2003 and this NetAudioAds/PPP outfit whatsoever.

Have you signed up with them (NAA) to wait for BPA's audit? The only ones to blame here are those who are promising unrealistic launch dates...
If you read the PPP forums, you know they are running now unpaid ads on the publishers' sites. What are promoting those ads? They promote NAA :D That's not Pay-Per-Play, that's Play-Nay-Pay LOL!

Just imagine that: you joined because they told you "get paid for 100% of your traffic" starting Feb 1st 2008. It is end of March now and instead of seeing some $$$ coming in, your web sites are used now by NAA to advertise their business FOR FREE! Have I said before that this isn't a scam because it's free to join? I WAS WRONG!

So the conclusion is pretty clear: BPA is a scapegoat (as well as the naysayers, the bad press and so on). The reason for the delays is the lack of advertisers.

All of this is fine and well, but the thing that EVERYONE should be concerned about is that the leader of NetAudioAds, Lawrence W. (Larry) Host is a convicted felon and has been evicted numerous times and has filed bankruptcy at least 6 times in the past 10 years.

Larry Host is currently on probation in Michigan for failure to pay child support.

Do you want this guy holding your money when and if this program actually starts serving ads?

I don't really care about his past. Nobody is perfect, except me, of course (although even I have a small defect: I'm perfect :)) So no, I'm not concerned about Larry holding my money when the program will start to serve ads because I'm pretty much convinced that this thing is never going to happen. There ARE NO ads!

I believe I am losing faith on this one too... and its not their shady past either... but their shady present that seems to be building. Promises of "later this week" never materialize... and now the latest... they started to play UNPAID demo ads on our network (& without our consent) to "raise awareness of their product" according to Lawrence Host. Sounds like they are scrambling to replace some lost advertisers.

What a WINNER!:D How can NAA fail with that CEO?
Do you have a link(s) to any of that info as I hadn't heard about that. I heard he had a "past" which I think anyone living has, but I didn't realize it was so colorful.

I'm sure every major advertiser and phantom search engine partner feels confident in spending money with someone like that. Not.

There are plenty of links out there if you just do a little "due diligence", but my favorite is this one: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=7127449&postcount=123

None of this really matters. As Justin pointed out; there are no search engine partners and there are no advertisers.

Pay Per Play audio was built on lies and deceptions and it will die by the same course.
