Pay per click versus pay per impression, which is better on Facebook?

CPC (Pay per click) or CPM (Pay per 1000 impressions)

    Thoughts?

Is one better suited to shorter campaigns?

Then shouldn't it be CPC? If they don't usually click the ads, but they see the ads, that would be a waste of an impression!

Yeah, for Facebook I'd definitely go down the CPC route

For advertisers, of course better off to use PPC rather than Pay per metric. I'd say, although it might be indirectly effective, in some sense. The same if you advertise on MobGold, Admob, etc.
