    Before that's the minimum bids.

Then I used to make a lot promoting free email programs at MIVA at 1 cent bids.

Now, MIVA's minimum bid is 5 cents.

What are the other search engines that's still have 1 cent minimum bids?

What are the minimum bids for big boys like yahoo, msn, google, etc.?

I saw people bidding for $1 for words. I had a hard time breaking even with 5 cent bids.

    What are they promoting anyway?

Minimum bids for Google is 5 cents. I would prefer to go with Google rather than Miva as they are more known and you can also choose to just display your ads on their search engine results.

Minimum bid is 0.05, but for common products and web-sites it must be .20 - .50 - check for keyword tool
