    Hi there,

I'm pretty new here, and have been looking around the net for a while trying to find ways to earn money as I'm a stay at home single mum..

I came accross alot of Pay per click sites in which you read email, click banners etc to earn money.. the only issue is, the ones that state that they pay generously have all turned out to be scams, and the ones that do pay pay small amount that are not going to make much difference to the purse at the end of the day.

Just wanted people to list the scams here so I can stear clear of them...

    Thanks for your help.

    :)

I'd say you better leave the clicking banners, surf for cash and all such stupid things.

Make a good site, add any type of content to it, anything that you are good at (you must be at something, right?) like Cooking, and what not (the girly stuff :p).

And then submit your pages to social bookmarking sites and get the traffic, then you can get your CPC and CPMs. This is a long term method, but TRUST ME really, it will pay off very nicely.

Offtopic: I have a server and can handle the technical things for you, if you do wish to make a site or something.

I despise the concept of "pay to click"

It's always going to be used deceptively against people who are looking for decent advertising options.

Would you want to purchase ad space knowing that all your hits were generated by people clicking the ad just make to make money by clicking on it?

Steer clear of these pay to click things - even if they're not scams they're more hassle than they're worth. What I'd do is start a blog, put some ads up, maybe sell a few things (sell some links maybe - check my sig) - that will get you more money than clicking 1 cent a go emails.

The best thing to do is steer clear of GPT programs altogether.

    GPT = Get Paid To

They're incentive sites, they pay you to click on ads, read ads in email, etc.

Very little real consumers use those programs, it's mostly people who are only involved for the few cents they can make for clicking the ads, and the traffic is typically worthless for advertising anything other than another GPT program.

No one buys products or services ...they just click for cash :(

The best way to earn a living online is to make blogs, write original content, update it on a daily basis, try some seo on it and you will be all set in few months enough to support your daily expenses.

GPT Programs pay very less. You will have to click 300 ads to earn 1 dollar. May be some programs need you to click less ads. But its total waste of time.

If you want to make money on the internet fairly quickly and easily... I would recommend content writing. You really do not need any experience and if you are a quick typer and writer you can make about $12 per hour just doing that. At least thats about my average when I do a few projects occasionaly. It is not ripping anyone off because you are putting time into and making decent money at it while the person buying can pay others so they continuously have content on their websites. Everyone wins. :)

yes , get paid to surf , read email are just a burden , they are not scams but , it costs more to your isp than click to get paid things , just make a website and put adsense work hard and you will get very good earnings.

Don't forget to monetize the blogs, though. :)

You can sell links, write for blog networks or use ads. (If you're looking for a good ad company, try Fadoo.)

Yup steer clear of them all together although I did have a good scam to scam them back with ; feel free to try it LoL :

    1) Find a cheap one that has a Pay Per Sign Up, where you can pay these members to sign up to a reasonable and legitimate site - for this case say 10cents per sign up.

    2) Now find a good one that pays you say 20cents per referral.

    3) Now go back to first (step 1) and enter say 50 sign ups for / at 10cents each that'd be $5 and enter your referral ID for the site in step 2.

Now are you following me ? so now what you have done is doubled your money by buying members for the site in number 2 for 10cents each, while site number 2 pays you 20cents per sign up / referral.

Also works for some affiliate and dating sites, some dating sites even allow this form of advertising - incentive schemes.
