Few days back I sent an invoice to one of my client and got paid for a service I am offering him online. I am a freelancer internet marketing consultant. Soon after the payment hit my account, pay pal sent an email to me saying that they have limited my access to the account, and I cant transfer money from my account to other bank, How ever I can get money. (FILL MY PAY PAL ACCOUNT WITH $$$$$) They asked me to send the address proof for to resolve the issue.. I sent it and waited for 24 hours. Got a replay , I should say it as a template email requesting for more information- like explanation of the service I am offering, Shipping address and lot other craps..Again wasted my valuable hours !! I wonder why they didn't ask for it at the first step.. I send it as a fax and they assured me that I will get a email as soon as my fax hit their system. I send one and waited for 2 hours.. No response.. Send again.. again and again.. 4 faxes. No response that it hit their machine.. remember that I am sending fax from india and each time it cost me few cents... Now I got an email for all the four fax saying that I should wait another 5 days.. I dont know how busy, careless or stupid things are going at that end.. My money is in Paypal account, good for nothing.. I can never recommend paypal to any one.. Do you had similar experiences? What will happen to my account? Wil it get frozen? I am lost..
I know how you feel mate i had over $1000+ in my paypal when they froze up my account and told me that i have to wait 6 month before i could receive my money. Its because paypal doesnt have to work by u.s. bank regulations
I too had a bad and similar experience with them. Can you please inform what did you use for the shipping address you gave to them. Since you are receiving and sending work via email (as attachments), how did you get your client's shipping address? Thanks in advance for your reply. All the best to you too.
