I just sold my first text link ad (privately), and I don't have a Pay Pal account, but everyone wants to pay over Pay Pal. Is it neccesary? Is it a reliable, reputable site?

Also, is it neccesary to be able to negotiate contracts and resolve disputes in selling ads? How much legal do you need to know?

    Hi!
Yes..and no. I see they're still up to their old tricks of suspending funds without notification..I find that deplorable.

They almost had a hand in costing me plenty of $$$ with the imfamous bank domino knock-over game. They didn't care..Napster didn't care..but that subscription taking $4.81 from my bank (unauthorised) could have cost me over $100.00 in fees. Unacceptable. I will never..EVER..agree to a paypal subscription knowing:

Paypal is not going to enforce (or even try) what's agreed to

Paypal does not hold the seller responsible from breaking their own agreement.

The more "features" I use..the more i regret it. I am shopping for alternative(s).
