Pausing my campaigns

    I'm running out of my budget soon and would like to know what happens when you pause all your campaigns? Do they still charge you something? Also, for how long can I leave the campaigns paused since I may return and start the campaigns again?

    I have already paused all my campaigns and I can say that nothing happens, they don't charge you and also don't close your account after a few days. The only thing is that after pausing your campaigns your ads will show for more a couple minutes.

    So, I can leave the campaigns paused for as long as I want? I'm pausing them because I need to revise my strategy and ads to be more targeted and have a clearer message because I did not get any conversions from these campaigns so far. While I do that, I will pause my campaigns but do not want to cancel my account because I will continue using AdWords at some later time.

    You can pause them without any issues and come back to it later.

    Exactly, you can leave your campaigns paused for as long as you want.
