    Unless they're paused for a long period of time it shouldn't be a problem.

    is not a problem pausing your campaign - the only problem is that when you pause your campaign you are giving a small advance to your direct competitor in terms of quality score.

    Yeah this will happen.What shall I do if there is a no need of conversions for some time.

    You can allow some adgroups to run which give you the maximum ROI and pause others. Totally going off adwords is not a good idea at all.
