Paul Ryan proves in a speech to The Atlas Society that he really does follow the philosophy of Ayn Rand. He also shares how Ayn Rand's philosophy impacts his views on public policy:
Can we add this argument to the war on big bird, the war on women, and the rest of the nonsensical arguments the left has to offer in place of a record of success for the last four years? Not sure if you saw this, but Gallup now has Romney ahead by four points . There is still at least one political lifespan between now and election day, so perhaps your vacuous leader can pull something out of his ass. What do you think? I hear Obama is aggressively trying to find someone to blame and kill in Libya for the attacks on the US. Embassy. A quick string of drone strikes on some random Libyans might be just the thing to help Americans forget about the cover up and declare the whole mess a victory. Sounds grand.
That's good news. Hopefully, the debate tonight will further increase Romney's lead. Many people have observed Obama has a difficult time communicating without a teleprompter, so this town hall style might really throw him off. He'll probably try to focus on attacking Mitt Romney, as that might go better for him than talking about what he's actually done as president.
Sorry my far right-wing conservative friends, but Mitt Romney will NOT win Ohio, and therefore can NOT win the election. Better luck in 2016...
With or without a teleprompter, Obama's problem seems to be that he actually believes the caricature he has created of Romney with all his talking points. When he has to present in a forum, like a debate, that actually has somebody pressing back on that caricature, he falls apart completely. Think of it this way. If the press had been doing their job at all in the last four years, Obama would be well prepared to deal with debate. Atrophy from four years without having your words questioned has come back to haunt him. Check it out Rebecca, because you have weighed in with an opinion, you are now demonized as part of the "far right-wing". Pathetic, isn't it? I think of you when I think of the massive shift among female voters that happened in the last two weeks toward Romney. Perhaps the farthest thing from the "far right-wing" there is.
lol. I don't know why the shift in women supporters for Romney has been so sudden. In my case, I went from undecided to Romney supporter within a few weeks. Part of that, was watching Romney for the first time in the prior debate. Romney can get very specific in saying what is wrong and how he wants to fix it. Although, many judge the debate tonight as even, I saw the same in the debate this evening. He has specific plans. He talks about China, increasing trade, his tax plan, jobs. You can tell he has a wealth of experience. I have confidence he is the best choice to improve the economy. On the other hand, Obama has been president for almost 4 years, and I don't see what he's done to help the economy. He's vague. He speaks in platitudes. Obama needs to move over.
Contrary to the diversions being tossed out by the left, the biggest problem in the country is NOT a lack of free condoms or abortions. . It's an economy that's had a record number of months with unemployment over 8% It's record number of people being added to welfare roles. It's gas prices that have doubled and food prices that are following along. It's health care programs stealing from existing programs and raising insurance prices the program was intended to lower, and at the same time encouraging employers to lay off workers. . We have two primary choices . One came into a bad economic picture and exacerbated the problems. He has no experience in the private sector and based on his own writings he's got a socialist bent. Though he had control of both houses for half his term, he couldnt do anything to help the economy, unless you count his cronies to whom he funneled billions. The other is a corporate turnaround guy with a solid track record, and also has former executive experience as a governor. . We'd be idiots to keep the community organizer and walk away from the guy known for corporate turnarounds. The only way Obama wins is if the Obamaphone idiots show up in full force accompanied by the "white-guilt" idiots. We need to get outta stupic mode and put the guy with qualifications in... not the community organizer we hired because he sounds good when he has a teleprompter. I think Obama is going to get blown out. The polls continue to show his campaign hemorrhaging voters.
