Pattern of traffic increase from search engines

    Did you experience a steady rise in traffic over time or was there a sudden big increase with your site.

    I find that traffic from certain search engines like Yahoo, Google, and MSN varies greatly. One day Yahoo will send me 4000 visitors, while the next day Yahoo will send 2k, and a week or two EARLIER Yahoo would have only sent me 800-1k uniques from the SERPs. Must be the good old statistical data of supply and demand? I digress.
