Patience is Key with AdSense

I find patience is likely the most important part of the AdSense equation. Too many AdSense publishers can't figure out why changes made yesterday are not making them richer today. Every once in a while, one of my channels that I haven't changed much in many days will begin rewarding me with w eCPM >$10. I'll remember making a change a week or two ago and although I'll never know for certain, I can look back and see that slow rise from $1 to $10 eCPM from the time the change was made. Patience is key!

agree with you. you need the patient to keep experimenting different placement of adsense once in a while to see results.

I just learned about all the goodies/possibilities with AdSense. It was just sitting on my site before. Last week, I finally started experimenting with it, and have earned more in the last week than the last 3 months combined (nobody said I was too clever).
I have been setting all my new pages up on channels, and leaving them for a week to judge their effectiveness. But I notice that the value of them is changing all the time. Is the CTR affecting my rates? I have been trying to send more traffic to some pages to lower the CTR; is this a bad idea?
Amanda - on a learning expedition.

I couldn't agree more. Even when I am not testing, things rarely stay the same with AdSense. So when testing, I really make sure to give it some time before coming to any conclusions.
