If it is done for the negligible health benifits I don't have a problem with it, but it's not is it. It's done because it's written in an old book as something the invisible man in the sky wants.

Like I said, if you can't tell the difference there little chance of anything meaningful coming out of our exchange. I'd be better off talking to a rock, at least rocks are unable to deny the obvious and pretend not to understNd simple distinctions.

Could we not say the same thing about abortion when it is not for health problems because some crazy feminist says its ok?

Also there is no way to say that if someone is doing what Jesus has said and done they will be helpful to society. Also God has told us to show love in that same way you should not do this because "the man in the sky told us to".
You have kind of a ridiculous point. Also we do not live by the old testament!

So you believe that women don't get abortions because they believe it's the smartest option they have (to prevent both more poverty and misery, now and in the future), but instead because some crazy feminist is rallying women to go and get abortions to make a political point? Let me guess, you're a Christian conservative - grew up in a Christian conservative family so now you're repeating the same things you've always heard?

God hasn't told us anything (this is also a loaded statement since there's no proof he exists), don't you mean humans have told us?

You don't live by the old testament? Well, what's the new one based on?

And if you don't live by the old testament, aren't you implying that god changed his ways a bit and decided to stop being a mean asshole?

"Well, hah, ya see.. they did all that crazy, brutal shit back then, it's just a cultural thing you know."

Yeah, religion, like art, music and poetry, is shaped by the times and culture. Which pretty much supports our claim that religion/god is man's invention and expression.

well you win the prize for most irrelivant comparison used to crow bar in your religious view, which appears to be " waa waa why won't wen do as I say!"

good job most of us don't live by the old testament, it's the most barbaric piece of fiction ever written. Followers of Judaism would disagree, they very much do live by it. Well, the small amount of it that's actually legal, which for some strange reason includes genital mutilation of children.

Ok so this like the same as the big bang theory. Never proven but so many believe it on faith. If you couldn't ever believe it on faith then there would be no reason arguing. I have no argument if you just say there is no God so it is something on faith. I can not see that the teachings of Jesus ever hurt anybody even though many people have twisted it to make it their own thing and see what they want to. These are Cults and extremists which are definately a huge problem but just as I have said all extremists are problems PETA extremists, Sierra Club Extremists, Right and left political extremists.

Even if what you say is true, which it isn't, the big bang theory doesn't instruct people to mutilate childrens genitals, which is the point.

Bush may have bungled language, but he was anything but stupid. Biden is clearly a bungling idiot. I'd go as far to call him mentally retarded, but then I'd be offending real special needs people.

Its quite evident that Biden is either drunk or stupid or both. It's no secret he's drunk 9 times out of 10 when he's being interviewed or giving a speech. The other 1 out of 10, his stupidity works solo.
