password reset after 180 days is stupid

    I admit i have never run a big board like dp, but as a user being required to enter a new password after 180 days is a useless waste of my valuable time.

    Please let me keep me password because I am just going to set it back to the one I remember anyway.

    Changing passwords helps cut down on hijacked accounts. You would be surprised how many users have their accounts hijacked, many from using the same password on all accounts.

    Did this feature always existed in the past as well... as I do not remember having reset it earlier than just few days back! :confused:

    Was implemented last fall... so it was probably the 2nd time you were forced to change it.

    It was not one of my likings too.. But, it reminded me how old my password was. :p
    Is it possible to change the time to 365 days?
