Why would you do this frequently? Changing passwords on a regular schedule isn't really that much more secure than just having a secure password to begin with. Granted, you could maybe prevent repeat brute-force attacks, but those should be caught anyway, so I don't really see the point?
Changing password that frequent may be crazy. Of course , password updates are recommended; but there will not be any advantage in setting a weak passwrod and change it regularly. Better set a very strong password, use custom SSH port, disable direct root login. If possible disable SSH password AUTH and enable key based login, which will make your server more secure from SSH brute-force attacks.
