Contest Partyu: Logo contest for the parties industry - $30 Paypal

Dear,

I'm glad to share with you, my third design contest at Digital Point.

At this time, I need a fashionable logo for a new startup from the parties and events industry, called "Partyu". www.partyu.com.br

Initially, we have designed a very simple logo but now we are looking for a new visual identity more professional.

We want a memorable logo through the union of "Symbol + text" building a youthful brand. As our audience is young we need a cheerful, lively and relaxed brand.

Feel free to think a any new concept from scratch.

First of all, I would like to thank everybody. Before giving a feedback for each one, I will tell you more details to help in your creativity.

Well, I believe that we need to make the letter "P" as very brandable and remarkable symbol.

Imagine that:

- A "P" app icon in your iphone;

- It should to provoke a memory about luxury parties, for the rich people.

- Also, use pins to indicate that it is a geocoding app. Using bright colors
Ex:


- Last thing, imagine this app icon in your screen together will your all other apps. And now, imagine the Partyu "P" icon most featured of all.


Important thing: Don't be bound in the current screens that I have posted trying to match it.

Think out of the box!

Awesome job. I'm really impressed. You are in the right way.

I would like to ask you some stuff following this direction:
- Show me other variations of "P" and "Partyu" text fonts;
- Apply different color shades;
- Fill this map with the "P" icon targeting some places. Also, please do a golden pin to represent the premium events:

 

@superdz, I could not see a "P" clearly in your entries.
@giganue, It is a good entry, but I could see the letter "P" in the pin.
