I'll be launching an image hosting website. I have a unique image hosting script that is custom designed. It has many features, server managing and balancing features. The domain name it is going to be hosted on already has over 1000 hits a day. I would need someone to help financially when bandwidth gets high. I also have a programmer that can do pretty much anything for $8/hr. So any features could be added to the script at anytime to improve.

One major project would be integrating a slideshow feature.

I have never partnered with anyone. I dont know if i should even call this partnering..maybe its more like i need funding!

I'm not exactly here to find someone to help me right now but to learn about what i would need. Lets say someone says they want to pay for one server each month...what agreement do we make?

What would the partner get out of the partnership?

Are they going to make a return on what they put into the business?

I'm not interested but these are the type of questions a potential partner will ask.

What your looking for is a JV or joint venture. If that is the case you need to offer something to someone in response to asking them to help you. Take for instance I offered someone free advertising from my site for help with some php as the site programmer. Then I helped someone out with their SEO and received discounted hosting. It is all about networking and setting up the right connections.

You need to find a partner with a complementary skill set if you are looking for someone to put in elbow grease. If you are looking for a JV, you will need to provide specific details on how you will add value to the partnership.
