We're an australian based ruby on rails web development company working out of thailand. We've finished up some projects and we're keen to work on some partner projects, something we can go 50/50 in or 30/30/30. Client work is not where we want to be, we want to be making revenue from projects we're a part of. In my team of developers i have 2 that have downtime at the moment, a ruby developer and a designer. If your willing to help fund the development - $250 a week for 50/50, $165 a week for 30/30/30, then i'll manage the team and the project etc. I dont mind throwing cash in once it's time to do marketing etc. But at the moment i just want to team to keep busy, i'd prefer to do a project that we own a part of then take on another client job at the moment. Let me know if your interested, we've been building web apps for clients for a few years now, can pretty much do anything within reason, i have a few ideas in mind for a project, and i'm open to hear your ideas if you have something you want to work on.
Hi, Do you work with databases, cookies, building UI's? Able to do PHP? Scale systems and auction based models?
Actually i should have clarified that in the post. We build medium to high end systems in Ruby and ruby on rails, and ajax etc. MySQL is the database platform, we do build scaleable systems, and we build whole projects start to finish, design, ui, system, backend and server setup etc. previous systems we've built do things such as sending out sms's based on an alert - something has happened, and the user can respond to the sms to then make the system react depending on the alert. gps tracking with google maps large search systems job recruitment systems server based website screenshots, taking a shot of the site, storing the data on amazon file servers we've build like i said whole job search and listing services, car sales, bike sales sites, project management sites, business planning sites that produce your business plan as a printable pdf etc etc... we can do php but its a waste of time - takes too long compared to what we can do with ruby. ruby is a much better language for web app development.
