    You facilitate a discussion by...

    * Expanding on someone’s thought with a new one of your own.
    * Asking them to expand on their thought.
    * Asking them to give you an example.
    * Asking follow up questions

    I think now days all professional people(businessmen and all) using Linkedin for their website promotion so they can sell their services to others.it means Linkedin is helpful for promoting business.

    I only noticed your question today but, by chance I also received a post today from Social Media Examiner. I'm not connected with it in any way by the way and I get so many emails re blogs and other good content that I usually don't have time to read them but I've found Social Media Examiner to be really great. Today's post is about Linked in and contains some excellent tips and does answer your question. I have upgraded my Linked In account after reading it. and I think if you read this post and maybe sign up to get the newsletter regularly you will find it very useful. I certainly do. Tony. PS I put in the link to today's post for you bit as yet I'm not allowed to include live links in my posts on this forum so I've had to take it out. You'll be able to find it though if you just Google Social Media Examiner
