Partially duplicating contents would be an issue?

    Hello folks, I have a quick questions for you.
    I'm running a blog, this blog parse all the feeds from the major blogs in a niche, creating a "directory of posts". All the posts are taken 1:1 from the original source but posted with a char limit of 500 (so that would be a long excerpt) and below the content there is the direct link to the source.
    The question is, will Google penalize me or ban me from the search engine/adsense?

    i don't think so, google adsense will penalize you as far as i have read rules. But it can effect your search engine ranking.

    so, am I ok running this blog?
    it could be just an "ethic" problem if i duplicate other's content content, that's why im good with my conscience by truncating the content and placing a direct link to the source below the content :)
