Just done a Google deskbar search, then a browser search and seen a leap up the serp's on a number of terms on the deskbar, and lower normal result on the full browser.

Lots of fun when you see your pages increase on a very competitive term!!! Hope they stay there. I have taken the benefit from the co-op links, now I'm starting to see the benefit of continued recip links - most from them asking me for links.

If you don't mind me asking...how long did it take you with co op links to notice higher SERP's

On one term that I only put a few links (16k weight) - 6 weeks to get from 47th (been around there for a few months) to 10th 'ish, then been stationery for the last three months - now got to around 6th out of 8-12mil results - one word city name. The control page had no marked changes, so not a result of normal Google fluctuations

Another phrase for another site- put around 70,000 weight, the control page stayed the same, newish website, 45th to 6th in 10 days for a page - site has only been up around three months by that time. The result has stayed there for the past three months with continual new recip links. Interesting, for terms that I have not linked, the pages are not easily found, so still in the sandbox apart from pages that I have done lots of linking. Pages with low competition are ranking serp=1, when there is competition, not ranking as well as I can in another site that has similar PR but been around longer.

Been interesting doing the analysis. Makes me wonder what the city term would rank if I put the full weight on there.

Thanks for the info...I joined in Dec 2004. My results are very similar...perhaps a little better on the SERP's. Sounds like you carry a bit of weight. Be careful, I have heard that all SE's are now raising flags when a site accumilates too many lBL's overnight.

    Manage your weight wisely ;)

I could be mistaken but I think I saw a change in PR on this site for the keyword tracker tool. I thought it used to be a 6. It's a 7 now.

Those are the small in-betweens. Next big PR update could be end this month / beginning next month.
