Partial change in payee name?

    Hi everybody,

I understand that the payee name cannot be changed, but has anyone ever experience a partial change in name? or little change(subtraction) in the name.

For example, Google account has the payee name="Abbas Hussain Qadri" However the bank and the other documents have the name "Hussain Qadri" is it possible to change google payee name from Abbas Hussain Qadri to Hussain Qadri only?

any advise or experience? I have already emailed google regarding this will post their reply here.

P.S: My bank is denying to process this check due to change in name.

    Thanks

Nope...What you have to do is contact them they will send the current earnings on the payee name you have on this account and they will make a new account for you with differnet payee name and will close the old one

    Hi allz,

Saad, I am not gonna lose that check, if you had posted earlier I might be suggesting you to contact your bank manager and ask him if he can cash out that check for you after you under-take it's responsibility on affid-davit.

Futher, my banks is denying but I'll finally manage in any case, I hope wont be unsuccessfull:) it's not only the bank which matter, PR (Public Relations) also helps.

I'll post back again as soon as I here something from google.

    Thanks Saad for congrats!
pyro11, it tooks me about 6 days, and it's safer and ok to put payments on hold if you are not worried and eager to receive your payment. if you keep your payment on hold till 15 it will be processed in next payment cycle.
