Parse error/ syntax error in Wordpress ??

    I have some blogs that always face the same problem and can't access them properly.

    The error message is:

    "Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/kwpagan1/public_html/3person.com/index.php on line 19 "

    I have encountered this problem from time to time on the same blog? Why this will happen? How to prevent it?

    There is no line 19. There are only 18 lines in that file.

    Are these new installs? If so how specifically did you install them? If not, what specifically have you done to the install recently? Any new plugins? Upgrades? Etc? Also what specific version of the software are you running?
