Parking Domains: A few Questions

    Hey guys

I've been reading a few articles on how to park domains and make money from it. But I can't seem to find out if it is actually legal for me to use a blogspot.com domain for this purpose? Will I get banned or is it perfectly okay to do this kinda thing? I'm just thinking, since it seems so easy to make a little money this way, there has to be some sort of backside...
    Thank you for your attention
    Best regards
    Mia:)

Parking is a service for people who legally owns their domains. Several people especially domainers own lots of
domain names, they park it and get revenue from ad clicks on their parked pages.

You cannot own a blogspot domain so parking is not an option.
Domains should be generic or a type-in model to get some revenue from parking.

    Hope this helps.

You can redirect sites/pages to some parking companies, especially for 404 traffic.

Making money from parking is not as easy as it sounds. You need to have domains with existing traffic, and the competition is high for these domains. You could easily find yourself paying $1000+ for a domain that receives as little as 100 visitors a day.

Do some research on domain parking and domain auctions. Unfortunately you can't just go to a registrar and get a good virgin domain with traffic for $7.

im most cases id HAPPILY pay 1000$ for a 100 visitor/day domain. At that sorta traffic level I would expect $10,000+ assuming it wasnt crap traffic.

Wow hundred visitors a day is good. I have a domain which gets 6 visitors a day :(. Doubt anyone would be interested in that.

    To the OPS question.

Blogspot account is a subdomain you cannot park that. You need a yourownname .tld/cctld

Thx guys, I just read an article on jackbook.com that claims he (jack) earned a $1000 by parking blogspot blogs, and I thought it sounded a bit too good to be true, so I won't even bother now:) Thx a lot for all your advice on this!

    Best regards Mia
