Parked Name.com site, can I still use Name.org?

    Hello, quick question.

    If someone has a website, say Name.com, and it's parked with a parked page, and I want to get the same domain name, but with a .org, can they do anything about it? For example, can they stop me for using the name (the name is generic sorta)?

    Not unless they have a trademark on that brand name. The more generic it is, the less like that's true.

    yes you can use the name .org only problem is .com gets free traffic from your site ;)
