We've 'inherited' some domain names when we made a new website for a client. I asked the old host to re-direct the domains to the new website (hosted by GoDaddy - meh) but not sure what to do with their response: "I’ve directed all the sites to NewWebSite.com WWW record on 160.153.x.x so you’ll need to setup parked domains at your end. The domains I’ve pointed at 160.153.x.x are: www.xyz.co.uk www.zyx.co.uk Any idea how we park the domains with GoDaddy? I've looked at go daddy guide here https://uk.godaddy.com/help/parking-your-domain-name-338, get to step 7(see pic) but am not sure what to insert and what if any A record i need. soz for such a daft question mike.
Domain parking can easily be done if you are using cpanel. But since you are using Godaddy and the domain you want to park is with another company it is best to contact Godaddy how you can park your domain. They should be able to guide you through.
