    Hi there,

I'm working on a e-commerce store that will launch before 2007. The domain is currently parked on the domain provider page.

What is the best strategy for SEO and Google regarding this domain? Should we activate a page for Google to find it? Or should we wait for the launch of the site?

    Thank you guys,

    Jm

This is always a toughy, but my recommendation is get around 10 articles on whatever you're going to be selling. Put the articles up and get some links pointing to it. Do all sorts of linking from article submission to reciprocal linking to purchasing links to getting bloggers to link. Get 100 links with good anchor text incoming links.

After that, just let it sit, but continually get links to it on a monthly basis until you launch your ecomm site.

Google has the Sandbox on all the time, so the sooner you can get it up and let it "grow" the better you'll be when you're ready to start.
