It will if you get hits - be wary though that its hard to find a domain capable of park revenue for a mere $1k...

    erline,

it does not work that way. most people park because they don't have resources to develop the domain and just waiting for somebody really interested to bid on it. unless your domain worth at lease 5 digits, the parking revenues are merely enough to pay for domain renewals

Parking is dying and you would really have to know what you are doing to make decent money off $1000 worth of domains.

You would be better off buying a small site thats already making money and build on it.

    Depend on the domain.
If the domain is able to earn $200/month from the parking itself then $1000 for the domain is worth it.

    Hi,

I was trying to get this Domain Parking thing to work. i got banned by Parked because I had an incentive site (GPT Site) but I was not advertising the link yet and got banned like 4 hours after I got approved.

Anyways I am looking for a Domain Parking Service that allows me to incentive traffic or one that does not care if I incentive traffic or people use proxies to click on the links (Someone told Sedo does that)

It depends entirely on the domain names themselves. If you're buying a bunch of 2 or 3-word keyword domains with no previous traffic or search engine standing, then you're going to be making a big mistake.

Keep in mind that you'll earn more with the minisite because you'll have a greater revenue share. For instance, if someone clicks an ad on your parked page, the parking company + the ad company share in the profit. If someone clicks an ad on your minisite, only the ad company takes their share.

Yes, you probably right. But again there is things to consider too like time frame to build those minisite to get the actual visitor. But you are right, minisites tend to be more profitable especially in the long run.

Jesda, maybe people who's into parked domain played with quantities. So from what I know that they are often buy domains in bulk and then parked it. But there's a friend of mine said that you can't just blindly buy domains and parked it somewhere. We have to do keyword research first to know what kind of keywords there are having enough searches per monthly basis so we can take our profit from it. Again, this is just what I have in my mind. I, myself haven't try to do this parked domain business that is why I'm making this thread to get as much info as I can get and to convince myself that this business can be one that makes me on going profit and nice income each month. So, I have tell you guys my reason...please anyone experience share your knowledge with us here....Thank you so very much...

Yes you won't get much parking revenue off of $1000 in domains. I would buy a few $xxx domains wholesale and flip 'em for a profit. Do your research first though, and make sure to have a target market in mind.

    Aloha,

I actually do VERY VERY well with domain parking. I have been at it since about 2004. I register domains all the time for $8 that end up making XX-XXX/month. It IS possible as long as you know what to look for. Parking rev has def dropped over the last couple of years, but it is still WAY WAY more than I would make working a "real" job, so I aint cryin about it. haha.

    Aloha,

Again I will say....if you do it right....parking can earn you big money. I make thousands of dollars a month on names just simply being parked. I dont really have the time to develop the names, so I just left them parked and they do very well. But I have been buying/regging traffic names for years and know exactly what to look for.

Aloha to you to everydayprofit (your nickname tells all about you lol)

Thank you for this sharing of yours. But one thing I want to ask you about. Isn't that means that you have to have lots of capital to buy domains? If you are saying that you making thousand's a month, then you must have at least thousand's of domains, am I right about this? please explain as I really am a bit of confuse here...
