    There are few options that compare to crude oil in terms of Energy Density and Energy Return on Energy Invested (EROEI). You just can't go on business-as-usual once the decline in oil production begins. No amount of partial substitution in terms of hybrid-electric transition, bio-diesels, ethanol, NG liquids, etc can bring back the kind of lifestyle we are accustomed to.

    I assume that very soon, MSM will realize teh truth, and begin to talk about Peak Oil.
