Paradox - I dont get it

    Ok, so Im working on a remote computer over VNC and I tell the other party to disconnect the internet cable, but I didnt mean to do it right now, but rather later when I do some other changes. They misunderstood and disconnected the cable straight away.

    Then I saw this: http://i40.tinypic.com/20pptv.gif

    The question is: if they disconnected the cable and windows detected that after, how did vnc send me an updated image of their desktop with the baloon popup if the cable is disconnected? :confused:

    No, its not wireless. Its a Kasda ADSL modem. I still dont get it, how can it be possible? :confused:
