I just 301'd my site from http to the https version. I added a bunch of links and de optimized my keyword density (from 6ish to 3 average) Now I'm gone from the index.... bing and yahoo have all my other pages accept my home page... Pretty sure its a dance but need to know how to tell? Anyone have any ideas? been reading like a maniac.... no manual penalties no messages most pages indexed...?
When I implemented such a redirect, it took Google Webmaster Tools a week to re-index pages. You can use the site:yoursite.com command in the Google search box and check whether returned urls are https or not. You can also use some online redirect checkers to make sure your redirects are well implemented.
Already confirmed 301's and stuff is good did the coding myself for the most part... It just disappeared 36ish hours later a variant of the http will show up with the site operator as well as all my internal pages..... a week huh? That long for bing/yahoo to workout a redirect for ssl purposes... lets hope.... I'm getting some google love on a separate note .......... I did the following: Lowered key word density(deoptimized slightly overdone) SSL added Dedicated IP added Links built.... google loves me bing and yahoo seem angry lol
Well, Bing has been even slower than Google for me... like weeks slow... and it is not even finished, but it is a small website...
