Good Morning I have an article on our site that was also put on to ezine articles(identical) after ours was indexed first. The ezine version had a raw url anchor going back to our homepage. Question is should I delete the article altogether or link back to the original article. In the good old days of article marketing we did quite a bit of this. Trying to get rid of a proable panda penalty so all help would be greatlt appreciated. Or of course as the sites don't carry much weight now should we delete all of our articles and even the entire accounts. Many Thanks
You answered your own question. I'm with you on the last suggestion. Remove the articles from ezine, they are useless. I remember those good old days(like 2 years ago) when you could use all those article sites like ezine to rank.
By the way, Panda is so terribly misunderstood. It's not really about duplicate content, it's about low-quality sites (which happen to be sites with spun content more often than not) http://www.semblog.com/5-common-googles-panda-and-penguin-myths-dispelled
Thanks Guys! Just wanted to check before I delete all article accounts I have(about 5). GWT shows links from these ie Ezine, Article dashboard and a few others. Are they counting these links in anyway, just wondering if not why do they show them. Cheers
