well I have forums so its almost always unique content unless someone copies article, but thats rarely.
I feel for you, but I've never thought that relying on free traffic entirely was a good foundation to build a business on. Just my 2cents
My site get effected in may 2011 and still not recovered, am not sure it was hitted by Panda or something else. But one thing is sure Panda update has a lot of impact on websites
I don't think so it'll ever overcome SEO...there'll be new techniques, features every where..so who'll rule..? And here it is done by Panda's...
Panda has done exactly what they wanted it to. It's making it harder for just anybody to create sites that rank well. Which is a good thing. Look at all the garbage sites out there. It was much needed in my opinion. If you have quality sites you have nothing to worry about...
focus on other traffic methods such as twitter, fb and email lists. Return customers are key. Google sucks donkey balls.
I believe PANDA done a great job by bombing on the blackhat and Xrummer users. I am still not having any problems with PANDA updates. My rankings are quite well as before.
Panda did NOT kill SEO at all. It cleaned up a lot of trash, and quality websites that use good SEO practices are ranking well... which is how it should be. Every one of my "good" sites are ranking better since Panda. The only sites I had that dropped rankings were spammy sites, autoblogs, indexing blogs and other junk.
whatever happened with panda we just need to adapt ourselves to the changes, link building is less important now, and the content is much more as a factor.
No, SEO is not dead. It changes its face time to time and it is natural. We have to be updated for getting best result.
If anything, I'm glad Panda happened. For a while, any noob with a few automated tools and an autoblog could rank at the top. Now, you actually have to know what you're doing. All of my sites are doing better than ever before now, because all the poorly optimized garbage dropped out of the ranks.
That's true buddy, business on the Google is now at the toughest position. I think all the failed should move their look from the google to other search engine (I propose Bing); but we need to concentrated over a same engine and need to drag it to user like google (simple we have to beat google by that search engine).
i m agree with you but i also have quiet different opinion than you because it's true that panda kill most of the seo techniques but the good part is also that after panda google wnats it's users search only quality website so if you want to increase your income you have to do qaulity work so this is the good sign that panda has end the black hat seo
The main reason that Google has launched the Panda algorithm is to make sure that the users or searchers are given the best search results that they want. Spam and over crowded sites that attempt to misguide the users or use sneeky techniques are the ones that most suffer at the hands of Panda. Also Google also engages new sites in a "dance" to test their worth.
