Panda doesn't like LOL

    Anyone else notice this?

I have a little site with half a dozen pages. I noticed the only page which doesn't rank well - even though it is an old page, a good page with long enough content - is the one with the word 'LOL' in it. It has the word LOL several times. The other pages do not have the word 'LOL' in it at all, and they all do well in the serps.

So I checked the high temple of lolspeak on Alexa and I dare say icanhascheezburger.com has been losing traffic lately. Could be coincidence of course.

Then again it does seem plausible, given that Panda was all about quality, provided one buys the assumption that any content with lolspeak in it is of a shallow nature.

    No, just that word.

I realized right after posting, that I should probably do a test, and edit out the word LOL from my page, and see if it goes from rank 200+ to where it should be (about 10+).
