What's the matter? This is a play, it's about acting and she is an actress..

It's supposed to be a comedy. I found this sketch from the "2011 Russell Peters Christmas Special." No offense, but, In my opinion, it doesn't seem that funny. Just kind of annoying, really. Here it is:

I'm not familiar at all with Russell Peters. Of course, I know about Pamela Anderson. Personally, I think she would be capable of handling a much better role.

Russel Peters is Canadian Comic of Indian descent, he is funny sometimes. But some of his acts are really annoying, vulgar, boring or just crap..

His Tsunami skit back in 2005 was somewhat funny..

OT: It's funny.. When Pam plays Virgin Marry in a sketch Christians, Atheists, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists etc all just have a laugh, Pam or Russell can go back to their regular lives right after that without the fear of being beheaded by some lunatic..

BUT!! When some draws the sketch of Mohammad, Muslims all around the world become murderous maniacs...

I agree and the only solution is for more people to make fun of Muhammad too.

Wow, that's bad. Really not funny. They had to know it was not funny because they used a laugh track. Anderson was used to desperately call attention to it. Perfect for her because her costume completely covered her 44-year old wrinkly old-ass body. Anderson is waaaaaaay past her expiration date.

It's a dangerous ploy for attention. When I was a political consultant I was taught that Catholics were the most dangerous demographic to offend, because if you offend them they won't write letters, protest, or make phone calls - but they will remember. If you are a candidate they will vote you out of office, if you are a TV network they will boycott your sponsors.

    Very true.

Wow, I didn't know she was 44 years old. I think she's pretty. Personally, I think her most attractive trait is her compassion. It seems like she tries to use her popularity to help others. But, yeah, the "Christmas Special" just didn't seem very funny. :)

The idea was precisely to get her to play the role and not any of those millions..

No disrespect but I have to disagree with both of these comments. One thing that you need to understand that it's NOT the Muslims who made fun of Jesus or Mary or anything related to Christianity. In fact, they are not allowed to simply because to Muslims, Jesus is also one of the Prophets.

Just because you make fun of your own religion doesn't give you the pass to make fun of others'. You can't use the same logic and make the assumption that the Muslims enjoy watching it too. You don't know that.

You think Christians enjoy having Jesus or Mary poked fun at? The word you are looking for is tolerance, something Muslims and Christians in western secular nations possess for the most part. It goes hand in hand with freedom of speech, and other personal freedoms most people hold in high regard. You know, the same personal freedoms that don't exist in many middle eastern nations?

You have right to disagree, so that's fine..

But it does not not matter who makes fun of what.. There are plenty of things that hurt my feelings, plenty of things that I don't like.. But does that give me right to go and murder people doing what I don't like?

Did I say Christians enjoy it? I never said that. I said there are Christians who made fun of the religion, please don't manipulate my word. Even using freedom of speech, there are some limits right. If you are a white, you can't go around and say the "N-word" to the black people right? You'll be called racist right? But it's ok if a black guy using the "N-word" to another black guy because if you're belong in the same group, the majority will agree it's not an insult. Can you say to another black guy, "hey, you're intolerence just because I said the-N word to you!"?

My point here, if you want to make fun about your own religion, you're allowed to but that's the limit as far as I concern. I'm using the same logic here.

It does matter my friend, look at my reply to Obamanation.

I agree, I don't support any violence BUT wouldn't it be better if we don't make fun of any religions in a first place? I don't know about athiest but shouldn't the religion get our utmost respect? It's not suppose to be a joke.

Why? If we can make fun of races, we can make fun of blondes, we can make fun of rednecks, we can make fun of drunks, we can make fun of politics, we can make fun of people, why can't we make fun of religion?

Religious people need to realize it is what it is, a joke...
