Paltry My Blog Log Referral Clicks, but most don't even register in Adsense?

I have noticed the majority of the off site clicks recorded by the my blog log analytics tool are not included in my click count in Adsense? Today, according to mybloglog I received 8 adsense clicks but only one recorded in adsense.

Not only that but that one click was smart priced all the way down to a 1 cent click.

I checked my code several times and everything looks good to me. Has anyone else experienced this? It's quite frustrating.

Who is it that purchased MyBlogLog?

Clicks that don't come from your site? You should find out the source of these clicks because they may be fraudulant.. did you join any revenue sharing programs and forgot about it?

no, mybloglog is saying I got 8 adsense clicks, but adsense is saying I only received one click... and that one click earned me a penny.

I get the same results with adlogger (adlogger.org) It records fictitious clicks. I noticed that it was tracking when I personally visited my own page. What caused it, I'm not sure. I can only assume its bad programming. The very first version of adlogger worked very well. Their update completely stinks.

It's probably just a bad program. Do they have a forum? You may just have to wait for them to get the bugs out, or find a better program. If I knew of one, Id let you know for sure.

    best of luck.

This is interesting. I wonder if my blog log or your adlogger would have anything to say about it.

I'm not sure what this is that makes them register clicks.

I don't know if it has to do with something else I found out. I put an access db on one of my sites to record the referrer id when my default page hits and for this one site it posts back three times and two of the IPs recorded are google. This is on every page load I get these three hits in my database no matter what the source of the traffic.

Not only that but it only started happening when I uploaded my site to the webhost. It only recorded one hit when it was running in my local dev webserver.

dont rely on mybloglog, its a crappy way of tracking ur click. Even mouse rollovers are tracked as clicks.

Afterall you can't dispute what you see in adsense.

it's possible that adsense did not count some of your clicks with some reasons like invalid clicks, etc

that was google's response... showed invalid clicks. Not sure why b/c I know I'm not clicking or asking others to click. I wouldn't risk losing my acct...

Perhaps the clicks was multiple clicks so Goog removed them. I never rely on Mybloglog as statistic anyway,

well, there is really nothing I can do about it anyway. I'm just glad my free lease program is working out so I don't have to depend on google adsense.
