Palpal SUCKS!!!

I have been using and accepting paypal for the longest time and finally today I realized what a mistake I have been making all these years.

Today, a customer was on a shopping spree on my digital store and bought items worth $330. After payment was verified through IPN, my store gave him the digital products download link...30 minutes later, I get an email from email that the transaction has been "REVERSED" with no further explanation or details in email or in account....so I call the fu**ers and talked to Jim (ID # 7533) who was a moron. He said he cannot tell me the reason and it was fraudulent reported so we have reversed it and there's NOTHING you can do.

So there you have it...Paypal officially SUCKS for sellers. Now I know that I can go and buy whatever I want (digital products) online and not have to pay a dime...just go to your paypal, report fraudulent activity and all transactions will be reversed.

I will be looking for another processor and would appreciate any help from other DP members who had problems with Paypal in the past. Any processor with no chargeback out there?

Hello you might want to check out Google's new program https://checkout.google.com/ no fees till end of year then still good rates.

Moneybrokers and E Gold have problems with some banks and cc's here in U.S. Reason I been told is because a lot gambling sites use them for payments. Paypal always agrees with buyer when comes to digital goods/services. This reason we going stop using them.

Even though people say that moneybookers and e-gold is better... i dont think so they do. PayPal is the largest network and sure lives upto its name.

I got charged back $120 before. They do said why they charged back though because it was a stolen account. Since that is a virtual item i am selling so I can't ask them to return money. So I ended up having -$85 on my paypal account. Yes!! Negative balance..lol

If your selling virtual items, you should not use Paypal. The buyer can file a claim and say they never received there item and paypal will ALWAYS favor the buyer and will reverse the funds.

I prefer moneybookers, there is no way a buyer can retrieve there money after it is sent.

Heres a referral link, if you want to sign up go here.

I think 2Checkout.com . It can be charged back but not easy to charge back with 2CO. I've used the for over 1 year and no problem, no charge back. The fee is a little high, 5%.

If you want to close your business, pls use egold or moneybooker. They are too strickly and customers don't like that.

I have been charged back for around 5200+ dollars in last 2 years.

But that is not because paypal sucks. I think the scammers who do this kind of frauds they suck.

i read somewhere that you wont get any money if do a chargeback for a digital product.

maybe paypal just keep the money themselves without giving money back to the buy for a chargeback saying to the buyer, "we cant refund you cos its s digital product" and say "we will refund the money to the buyer for the reported fraudulent activity" to the seller. :D
