Here's another crappy PTC site that sends tens of thousands of hits with not even 1 conversion.. This one rips your bandwidth pretty bad.. palmbux.com The stupid PTC site doesn't even have a working contact link.. I actually had to register for the stupid forum and post a threat to stop sending these crappy hits.. I haven't emailed clickbank yet to have the hops disconnected, but this one is really eating my bandwidth.. The CB id is actually palmbux, so this is the site owner himself who is fully responsible for such a crappy way of doing business.. Just watch out for this joker
I had trouble with him too. He is supposedly called Alexander or something, yet I said is that Alexander and they said 'no, he sold the site'. Their AlertPay still say Alexander which is fishy...
Perhaps you misunderstood. I do not pay for any traffic, and would certainly not ever pay for PTC traffic! These sites pick up on my affiliate program and send hundreds of thousands of hits and burn my bandwidth.. I don't want these hits at all..
I posted on his forum asking him to stop, but he deleted my post and is continuing to rape my bandwidth. I just emailed Clickbank asking to disconnect his hops. There were vendor discussions in the past on this "Crap Traffic" and how these jokers kill your analytic conversion numbers. This is just another site to watch out for because he send like 20,000 of the crappiest clicks a day.
Not sure, I assume if he is using a hoplink, he is sending into the clickbank.net domain, which then rebounds him to me. I would think blocking his domain would make no difference since he is not linking to my domain directly. but if anyone has any info on this, my ears are open to alternate solutions.
Write to clickbank and report the affiliate id and say you dont want him to promote your product...they will take action
Well, you might be able to use your .htaccess file to block his Clickbank hop URL directly. Obviously you would need to test this to make sure you aren't messing anything up for any of your other affiliates, but I think it's possible. I don't have enough in depth .htaccess knowledge to do this, but a few Google searches should teach you everything you need. Of course, getting Clickbank involved will probably work better, but at least you have a backup plan in case CB fails to act.
Well no reply from Clickbank the last few days and the guy is still sending this crap traffic with no conversions. I tried a few .htaccess variations, but i can't seem to stop the traffic from he is sending. I would prefer him to stop, but these incentive clicks may recruit some affiliates I suppose. But if anyone knows how to block this junk, let me know.. I tried Domain blocking, and htaccess referral domain blocking. Any other ideas?
