Yes, Yes it does, according to McCain and Palin's logic with associations. She is a traitor. lol But honestly this is why the guilt by association needs to be stopped by their campaign. Each candidate has a past that will be twisted against them, especially John McCain and Joe Biden as they have been around way more then them. They need to get back to the issues. The guilt by association tactic may be rallying the base, but it will turn off the undecided voters.
Do they want Alaska to be independent or to be a part of Russia? Are there any Russian peace keeping troops in the area?
Well I agree this is not the biggest issue of the campaign. But I do prefer elected officials who actually believe wholeheartedly in our country and constitution. She told the secessionists "keep up the good work" !!! If you were invited to a state based activist group, and you went to a meeting to see what they were all about, and you discovered they want to secede, then you would report them to the authorities and never go back, right? And you would give your spouse HELL if they joined! Instead, she pals around with them, giving speeches at their conventions! How could you trust her to "protect and defend the constitution" after palling around with secessionists?
Palin is a loose cannon. She doesn't belong in the position of being "a heartbeat away" from the presidency. Besides being active in the Alaskan Independence Party, she abused her authority as governor by trying to get her ex brother-law-fired from his job as state trooper over a family matter. Beyond that, she's a disgusting hypocrite, preaching traditional family values but having no problem with her unmarried teen-age's daughter's fornication and pregnancy. Palin addressed this anomaly resorted to moral relativism (which conservative Republicans supposedly abhor) by trumpeting that at least the girl didn't have an abortion. If McCain wanted a woman on the Republican ticket, he could have picked a seasoned veteran like Sen.Olympia Snowe. That would have given that the party's an image of legitimacy and professionalism. Instead, by choosing Palin the Republicans follow their tradition of selecting moral and/ or intellectual pygmies for V.P, like Sprio Agnew and Dan Quayle. independence for alsaka! they would be waaaay better off and they should get to keep the nukes and army on their territory after all they paid for it too...i hope they get their own independent country!...
